Data- the information the researcher obtains from the subjects of the study.
Data Gathering - the process of collecting information through interviews, questionnaires, observations, experimentations, testing and other methods.
Data processing- the conversion of data, especially categorical data into numerical symbols so that they can be read, analyzed and stored in the computer.
Data presentation – It deals with translating information into numerical or quantitative data by using tables, figures and graphs. This will make the information easier to handle and grasp.
Data analysis – It is the application of statistical tools/ tests appropriate for the type of collected and for the nature of the problem under investigation.
Data interpretation – It comes after the result of data analysis are found out. This includes giving meaning to the statistical values obtained and relating the findings to the existing theories and earlier studies in the area.

  • Population refers to a concept applied to any finite or infinite collection of individuals. It is a well-defined group of individuals, animals, happenings, observation, etc.
  • It also refers to the group whom the researcher is interested in studying and to whom the results of the study are intended to apply.
3 kinds of Population
1. Finite population – this is a kind of population where the elements are countable even if the exact number is not known to the statistician
2. Infinite population – this kind of population consist of an endless number of elements like all the possible values resulting from a continous process of coin tossing or die throwing.
3. Hyphothetical population – this kind of population has no real existence. It has only been imagined and figured out by the mathematicians to be generated by the repetition of events of a certain type.

  • Sampling – It is a part of a whole.
                        - It is a group in a research study on which information is obtained.
                         - It is a subset of a population
What is Statistics?
In plural sense- refers to any group of numerical or quantitative data.

Example:
births, deaths, and marriages found in the civil registry data
on production, employment, sales, prices found in magazines and newspapers
school records on enrolment, dropouts, failures and graduates
number of decided and undecided cases in court records and many more

In singular sense- a branch in mathematics or a science that deals with methods of gathering (collection), processing, presentation, and analysis, and interpretation of numerical/ quantitative data.

Tell The World of His Love

Tell The World of His Love Lyrics

For God so loved the world
He gave us His only Son
Jesus Christ our Savior
His most precious one
He has sent us His message of love
And sends those who hear
To bring the message to everyone
In a voice loud and clear

Let us tell the world of His love
The greatest love the world has known
Search the world for those who have walked
Astray and lead them home
Fill the world's darkest corners
With His light from up above
Walk every step, Every mile, Every road
And tell the world, Tell the world of His love

(Tell the world of His love)
(Tell the world of His love)

Our Lord our savior our king
Emmanuelle prince of peace
Begotten of the Father's love
Born to set us free
Let heaven and earth sing His praises
His righteousness proclaim
Let every heart rejoice in His love
And magnify His name

Let us tell the world of His love
The greatest love the world has known
Search the world for those who have walked
Astray and lead them home
Fill the world's darkest corners
With His light from up above
Walk every step, Every mile, Every road
And tell the world, Tell the world of His love

(Tell the world of His love)

Let us tell the world of His love
The greatest love the world has known
Search the world for those who have walked
Astray and lead them home
Fill the world's darkest corners
With His light from up above
Walk every step, Every mile, Every road
And tell the world, Tell the world of His love

(Tell the world of His love)
Tell the world of His love

What is really the message of this song? We should know what Jesus did for us and learn to value the love from Him because many of us do not. Let us spread the word of the Lord...

Panunumpa sa Watawat

Ako ay Pilipino
Buong katapatang nanunumpa
Sa watawat ng Pilipinas
At sa bansang kanyang sinasagisag
Na may dangal, katarungan at kalayaan
Na ipinakikilos ng sambayanang
Maka-Diyos, makatao,
Makakalikasan at
Makabansa

Southern Leyte Hymn

Maoy gasa sa langit
Ang lalawigang Southern Leyte
Duyan siya sa mga bayani
Paglaum sa mga kawani

Southern Leyte, Southern Leyte
Yuta namong minahal, hinaut unta
magmauswagun sa Ginoo
sa langit ikaw panggaun
sa imung pangulo mahalon ka
sa mga mulopyo ampingan ka
Southern Leyte, Southern Leyte
Yuta namong minahal

Tanang yuta'y bulahan
sa adunahang ani'g bunga
Mga kangitngit nya'y lamdagi
sa gugma'g halok hatagi

Philippine National Anthem

Lupang Hinirang

Bayang magiliw
Perlas ng Silanganan,
Alab ng puso,
Sa dibdib mo'y buhay.

Lupang Hinirang,
Duyan ka ng magiting,
Sa manlulupig,
Di ka pasisiil.

Sa dagat at bundok,
Sa simoy at sa langit mong bughaw,
May dilag ang tula
At awit sa paglayang minamahal.
Ang kislap ng watawat mo'y
Tagumpay na nagniningning,
Ang bituin at araw niya
Kailan pa ma'y di magdidilim.
Lupa ng araw, ng luwalhati't pagsinta,
Buhay ay langit sa piling mo;
Aming ligaya, na pag may mang-aapi
Ang mamatay nang dahil sa iyo.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heave
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father and to
the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now
and ever shall be, world without
end
Amen.
